“We are very happy to present you Wondermachine 001. The title of the opening EP is Rosalong by Clarabella Olssen, it includes a remix by Storlon.
Clarabella Olssen is the alias of Andres Marcos Revellado used for spontaneous musical structures based on improvisation, live and field recordings. The music produced under this moniker is focused on trial concepts and impulsive arrangements. Andres Marcos never liked rules, Clarabella Olssen is the perfect alibi to share his vision.
Andres Marcos and Storlon have been collaborating on several projects already so they know each other very well and have a very compatible taste in music. Storlon has developed an unique and recognizable style, his interpretation of Rosalong is an illustration of his approach.

“Welcome to the 12+1th reference of Cicuta Netlabel. After the hangover of the anniversary, we returned to the pitch to offer your free monthly techno ration. This time, we wanted to make a tribute to Spanish techno, so well that getting outside our borders, and which you have been listening to in earlier releases.
Start the EP with Victor Martinez, a classic of the north dance floors. After some early netaudio stage, appearing on labels like Offaudio or Antiritmo, he has managed to reach great heights in the European scene, releasing on labels like Pohjola Records or Dynamic Reflection. He is currently focusing on two projects, his own label (Psychoskunk Recordings) and his aka (Error Etica), developing a deeper and more visceral side.
We continue with Bran Lanen, this time under his aka Lifeblood. Bran is one of our fetish artists, and listening to his music is impossible not to get him to our releases. Under this pseudonym going to find more experimental music and thoughtful than usual, as a never ending tunnel…
Then we again have Jaume Muntsant, better known as Hermético, one of the most important artists of the Spanish netaudio scene, with years of experience and thousands of works behind. “The first in a new series of free net releases comes from dub techno legend Coppice Halifax.
‘Cedar Mast is the result of an experiment undertaken during the Summer of 2012 at Botany Bay. Having a longtime fondness for video games, and by association, video gaming consoles of years past, it occurred to me how much I always loved the bootup/menu sounds made by the Sega Dreamcast system. My wife bought me a brand new system for my 29th birthday, since our old unit had long since died, and I took the opportunity to sample all of the native sounds the machine makes when there isn’t a boot disc inside. As many of you familiar with the Dreamcast will know, these sounds consist of wet, chorus-laden bleeps and chord stabs, which seemed like the perfect ingredients for making techno tracks…and so Cedar Mast was conceived and subsequently created. Everything you hear in these five tracks that is not a drum machine (which is to say, all of the melodies, pads, basslines and even bits of percussion) has been created using only those original sounds from the Sega Dreamcast.'”

“Spanish producer and videographer José Barrera releases his magnificent EP Diffuse on basic_sounds. Known for being an industrial engineer by trade, Barrera’s passion lies in creating dark ambient drones with deep immersive basslines. He originally started composing in 2004 after purchasing his first synthesizer and later became invested with the Monome community, contributing to several compilations organized by other Monome users. He also has appeared on Mischieveous Musique, Drift Deeper and supplied audio accompaniment to a contemporary dance performance. His self-released albums are available for download from his bandcamp page.
Diffuse opens with ‘Fire Oscillator’, a densely thick immersive work with contemplative floating strings, crackling gurgles and deep organic bass similar to an internal rhythmic heart pulse. ‘Double Exposure’, is a lush, drifting dub techno gem that gains more depth through its pulsing signals and airy layered chords. ‘Mirror Reflections’ is a dark eerie pulsing track with shuffling sweeps, alluding to feelings of uncertainty. ‘Oblivion’ closes the EP with a twelve-minute long format composition that delicately transforms and glides the listener through a meditative foreign space. Absolutely beautiful and ideal for lovers of Wolfgang Voights’ Gas moniker and all things deep.”
