Today Side-Line presents you Electronic Resistance – Reconstruction, a follow-up to our previous 55-track strong compilation ‘Electronic Resistance’ which was released earlier this year. That previous compilation was extremely well received and ended up being the most successful darkwave release ever on Bandcamp. As a result we were able to support a lot of charity work and organizations.

The war is still far from being over and what the Russians started on February 24th 2022 already has had a huge impact on all of our lives, but way more on those of the Ukrainian people.

“The album was realized with great support of the members from the currently inactive band Go Run Donkey Hot! The idea for this album came into being during my study period in Belgium and an inspiration for the songs can be traced to the real place which my friends used to call the Secret Garden. The songs were recorded in line with DIY principles mostly in my village Zoljan during summer breaks in 2017 and 2018, and partly in Zagreb in 2018.”

«Третий альбом писался довольно долго. От него отсекались куски, которые в итоге перекочевали в анонсирующие ЕР “это нужно видеть” и “машина”. Титульные песни будут на “топорной работе”, остальные держались в секрете до последнего.
Как всегда, незримо участвовал Рома Белоусов, основатель проекта, которому в день выхода альбома, 26-го ноября, исполнилось бы ровно 40 лет. Следующий альбом будет содержать песни Р. Белоусова и совместные с А.Марабяном.»

Re-Drum : Illegal Narcotic Ride [TT046]

“Illegal Narcotic Ride is an album with an unusual atmosphere. Samples from 60ies and 70ies psychedelic rock all around. Add modern vibes and techniques to that, and you get the exciting mixture of past and present. Starting with ambiental tracks with experimental edge, flowing into dub techno and deep house. ‘Lizard King (Dub)’ comes as a sort of intermezzo track, and is my favorite here. This album is certanly not the most digestible album from Re-Drum yet, but its value lies in deep introspection of composer. Finally, Re-Drum noted himself he feels it’s maybe his best release.”
