Chamberlain : Relax, enjoy the crisis [LWr004]

A whole galaxy of multicolored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers… Acids sounds, dreamlike lyrics, insistent rhythms and hypnotic melodies for this band’s first full-length. Maybe we won’t relax thinking about the crisis, but surely these 9 songs can distract the listener’s attention from his problems and indulge in a whirlwind of honest, genuine and high-grade psychedelic rock sound.”

Ada Rave Cuarteto : La Continuidad [pyr042]

la continuidad, the first album from the ada rave cuarteto! the group is a fury of sound. intensely focused free improvisations give rise to pre-conceived compositions that allow the quartet to stretch out. they pay tribute to their inspirations – monk, braxton, ornette and dolphy – but, from that starting point, they set off in their own direction. lots of space, lots of listening to each other. quiet studies in the limits of their instruments. swing pulse rhythms on post modern be-bop. a genuine sound of joy.”

Ludwig Coenen : Hand ab für Detroit [Jack 003]

“Ok, don’t ask us, what is the connection between party-machine Tom Jones (see release picture) and Detroit. We really don’t know. Do you? We’ll be happy to know. Ok, back to the music. Release number three welcomes you with a slightly modified artwork and again three new tracks by Ludwig Coenen.
Brainflakes makes the melodic but yet powerfull starter, bass-heavy but with friendly sounds – we think Tom Jones would maybe like it. With track number two Bring it to the boil things get a little more nasty. It still has nothing to do with the before mentioned titan of entertainment though, but it definetively shakes asses. Track number three Inner Warmth takes you to a little, dirty sideway. Could be a dangerous road though. But then, just around the corner when you least expect it, you’ll meet an old beloved friend. What it is? Hear yourself… Ok, it’s chords. And now even the EP title makes sense, right?”
