“The fifth single in Lamont Kohner‘s ongoing catalog, Dusk Requisite offers a more subdued dub techno atmosphere that eventually opens up under the weight of a watertight bass drum. B-side ‘Hollow’ recalls the greasy city streets that are never very far away from any LK tracks, with the sounds of a subway rave heard through the pipes and grates on the sidewalk, locomotive rhythms echoing the train tunnels themselves, before stepping aside to plant more resonant chords like seeds in the slick asphalt itself.”
