“For this release, I selected 4 tracks from my recent (and currently ongoing) 2018 Audio Diary compilation, which were particularly close to my heart. All tracks use the same core instruments, but the arrangements take very different paths. I revisited the studio files to make final edits/adjustments, which were then elegantly mastered by Stephan Mathieu, at his new studio in Germany. These aren’t tracks to tear up your speakers. It’s my music at its most intimate, exactly how I think it should be.”

“Coflo‘s Boa Noite EP is a two track dancer’s play on words.

Boa Tarde, Portuguese for ‘Good Afternoon’, creates a musical landscape with a melodic drone. Designed to create a dancer’s moving mediation, the drums provide energy for the breath, while the leads become the mantra. The second half of the song features a series of lead sonics that unleash the dancer’s spirit. The electric guitar synthesizer lovechild lead creates sustaining movement that pushes the dancer into the sky; which then breaks into ethereal bells that fall back down to the dance floor.

Boa Noite, Portuguese for ‘Good Night’, offers an interesting intersection of syncopated drums and leads against a backdrop of thick etherial pads and soundscapes. Designed to be minimal yet busy, it is a dancer’s dream for a deep groove meets technical play things. A great track for dancer’s to explore and play with.

A great two sided deep journey perfect for movement exploration and lot’s of dancing with your eyes closed.”
