“The shadowy figure known as Lamont Kohner returns to Recycled Plastics, after disappearing into a smoky alleyway one night in 2016. He carries with him the new single BROKEN, a classic Kohner cut full of high-pressure bass, monstrous kick drums and dub stabs soaked in greasy city rain. A swirling neon romp that brings to mind equal parts dark dancefloor and film noir detective stories. Backing BROKEN is the equally heavy TENSOR, a hypnotic subway train of metallic rhythms and bass pulse, which passes through the underbelly of the city BROKEN lays claim to, echoing creaks and disembodied voices through pipe systems and black tunnels.”
