“Marc Atmost (or Atmeo) is an alias of a person who has been engaged with making electronic music since late 90’s. Mar’yan Kitsenko was born and raised in small provincial town with large industrial objects on the bank of the Dnieper River, in central Ukraine. As he grew up he watched the decay of once great country and observed people becoming dry spiritually.
‘I noticed that some specific music caught my fancy. That was some trance-techno-rave as I would discover later. Within almost a decade I tried to compose my own music. The major motivation for that was the lack of music that pleased me and the main purpose was determined to search for the saddest sounding. Despite my persistence, I found too exhaustive to adhere the approach and simultaneously I started making something opposite to my main agenda.
At the end of the day I went through almost every genre from acid trance to hardcore, once had drum-n-bass project Active Search Modulation Team together with one of my friends, tried to organize private parties, but concluded in more thoughtful areas. Now I reside in Kiev with intention to share, at long last, what I’ve been busy with for the past years.'”
