Sub.Made : Memories [SP16]

“SP16 – Memories marks the second release by Sub.Made (Denis Marold) on Sublime Porte.This time Sub.Made returns with 3 emotional dub techno tracks. After his rather dark/experimental 4-track contribution on ‘echoes’, he now seems to showing the calmer side of his productional skills.

The start of ‘Memories’ is driven by filtered chords and bass wich later turn into a simple and minimalistic but powerfull rhythmic composition. The heavy kick just fits right into the groove and makes it very easy to listen to.
‘True Time’ calmly builds up with lush pads, bass and kick then slowly evoles into a wide sea of emotions after the chords and percussions come in.The meditative pulsating groove floats like a thought drenched in all colours of hope and paves the way to the beautiful emptiness of ‘Unforgettable Moments’; Sub.Made creates an isolated and hollow place wich gets filled with deep rolling bass and melancholic piano riffs as the track unfolds. Derivate accompanies the EP with a deep bass/electro crossgenre remix of ‘True Time’.”

It is also said that mountains are thought-provoking, motivating and mesmerizing, and that we, humans, are being attracted by them like a luring light of salvation.

“The first piece, ‘Just do it’, gets you carried away by its dubby, pumpy groove, to which the 303 on the second half of the track adds its part.
‘Sugar”, an acid house song, on the other hand could be the soundtrack to a sorrowful movie.
Last but not least ‘Son’ with its eurodance-flair is a relaxing dance tune.”

“Welcome to the release number 30 of Cicuta Netlabel. They are passing references and we increase our family. With more than 80 artists who have joined our cause, some better known than others. In any case, we’re equally proud of each of them, every time they have a success we live it as our success. So, we want to thank you again, month after month, reference to reference, you still consolidating this project, we hope to have very far end…

In this release we present an old friend, the British artist Hoth System. Delivered almost 100% to free music (in fact his Soundcloud profile almost all tracks available for free download), it has gone through some netlabels friends, as Kidnapping Netlabel or District Facility. His style is quite varied and difficult to snap on a particular sound, but almost everything he does worth listening. A value to follow…

As for the remixers, first introduced in Cicuta to Stingrays from Singapore, that brings his heavy and dark techno. He is a very prolific artist in recent times, we can find his tracks in very interesting labels like Gynoid, Induxtriall Records, We Call It Hard or Kidnapping in the netlabel world.

On the other hand, we have the pleasure of welcoming to Cicuta to a friend, which we had long wanted to have on our roster. He is the Madrid based artist Razeed, manager of Geometrika FM project, with years of experience in the nightlife and the techno scene and a true musical scholar. He brings us a very mental remix, as he is.”

“I have spent days thinking about how to make reference to you without saying your name, how to make you participate of something of which you are responsible.

Back when we started the idea of the Netlabel we proposed ourselves to bring to light the referents of our artists, even though it would be only for themselves, because we belived truly that it was very important to make you conciouss about people that has got an influence in your life.

Now celebrating 7 years full of ideals, work and constantcy, I sit here to think about my referents and I remember everything about you, someone who has make possible that I am as much for me as for the others, that has taugh and guided me.

All along my life I have realised that we are a consequence of the people with which we cross and the situations we live through, even before we acknowledge this fact.All that peopleand those situations have guided the steps of Geometrika FM during this seven years , exactly as you used to guide me when it was I the one who was 7. Thanks for being always behind the door.

And to the rest of you, the ones that have colaborated with Geometrika FM, the ones that feel Geometrika FM, the ones who follow us and the ones who have offered their music for this VA, Thank You.
