“Sometimes night can be uncomfortable and frightening, because we‘re used to seeing clearly and perceiving what we see. Lack of light distorts the world and then we see everything in a different way. Our senses become more sensitive, to the point where we can hardly understand what we sense. Darkness is like a different world with it‘s own stories and rules. Fear of darkness that engulfs while you‘re waiting in uncertainty is more frightening than confrontation with the unknown it self. Stories of the night are being told while you‘re waiting for the sun. The most important thing is patience.”

“This compilation brings together artists from all over the world –
Grooves `n` Vibes whose roots are found particulary in electronic Bass and World music.
Making music is the most primeval form of human expression. Imbued with a mystical power to communicate at an instinctual level that transcendends language and speaks directly to the soul.
All artists follow a vision and live their dream with the realization of their music that unites us.
Moreover, we do not pursue any commercial interests with this project. It is our interest to spread this beautiful music to this world in which we all live together. – Dance to the rhythms and make the world a better place!”

Posted by f.a.r.e.s on

“Deep atmospheres with rhythm and a touch of dub is how Faserklang describes his music. You will find in Momenton not another dub album but the pre 2000 dub feeling known from artists like Rhythm & Sound, Maurizio and Vainqueur.

Momenton was produced with analog equipment and midi controllers, promising deep meditative dub techno with hints of melancholia here and there. Just listen or, if you like, dance to the music. It is perfect therefor.”
