Their stellar basic_sounds release, For Real Good, certainly lives up to its name delivering two compositions, which showcase the group’s diverse range of influences. The EP starts off with ‘A Conversation’, a deep brooding dub techno track with subtle evolving echo percussion builds. Hints of muffled voices combined with soft cymbals slip in and out for an overall hypnotic metallic minimal warmth. The title track is an irresistible slow building melodic house number incorporating piano, organic percussion, claps and uplifting vocals for the ultimate infectious groove.
