By now, Sraunus‘ output reached a very high qualitative level. This is definitly one of the best netlabel releases in 2010. Maybe even the best … Anyway, Out Of The City is an awesome dub techno release. Respect.

Christoph Schindling : Admission The Second Parts [L&C 41]

Christoph Schindling has both qualitative and quantitative a high output. His works have an interesting and unique style, mainly deep and delicious dub techno, sprinkled with minimalist clicks and cuts, and layered with pretty ambient pads. Maybe it takes somewhat getting used to his music. But after listening to some of his works, you’ll find something very lovely in it.

The one year old Gleichtakt Records seems to be an interesting netlabel. And Narcotic 303, the founder, seems to be an interesting producer as well. His Polar EP provides three elaborated dub techno tracks. Especially the acid touched track “Psychoakustik” is exciting.

DML // Local Area Network EP [gft net 006]

After a period of silence, there’s finally a new release by the Netlabel Grünfeld Tonträger. Considering the flood of netlabel releases missing creativity, the philosophy of this Label is to present fewer releases with higher quality.
DML‘s Local Area Network EP is a solid piece of Dub Techno. For each of this three tracks he used the same basic frame in production, shifting just a few parameters within the tracks. Building a network, these tracks work both unique and in combination.

He also works on his freelance productions and engineering jobs for television and music bands. He regularly plays as Dj, in several venues in Amsterdam city.
His works as a Dj, Audio producer and Sound engineer have handed him the tools and encouraged him to enhance the growth of non-commercial and non-main stream contemporary electronic music through the use of digital platforms and live performances.”
