“Ten artists give their take on the Dub Techno and Deep Techno sound for this years release. New artists alongside series mainstays showcase the ever evolving sound of the Dub Techno scene. All artists showcase their unique take on the Dub Techno sound starting off with a pretty Ambient piece from Careful Handling, and going through different takes even including some Drone Techno from DeepWarmth, to the smooth sounds of Twin Peetz and MVar, and ending with a truly experimental take on the sound from Coppice Halifax.”

“Pearlgraphs to najnowszy album autorstwa duetu Mech, który tworzą Michał Wolski oraz Fischerle (Mateusz Wysocki), a zarazem osiemnaste wydanie w katalogu Minicromusic Rec. Na Pearlgraphs składa się sześć utworów stanowiących mieszankę onirycznych brzmień zdecydowanie przekraczających gatunkowe ramy.

W procesie produkcji albumu muzycy wykorzystali szerokie spektrum narzędzi — od syntezatorów modularnych, przez brzmienia generowane przez smartfony czy tablety, aż po field recording. Tym, co od samego początku charakteryzuje twórczość Mchu, jest absolutny brak przywiązania do jakichkolwiek form czy instrumentarium.

Mech to projekt od początku do końca traktujący jako źródło jedynie dźwięk-sam-w-sobie. Nieważne kto i w jaki sposób go generuje. Efektem są bogate harmonicznie kompozycje, których składniki są ciężkie do określenia nawet przez samych twórców.”
