“No doubt our society is complacent. Is Hollywood’s never ceasing fascination with the walking dead any wonder? Radius’ Sleeping Wide Awake is a call from a reflecting awareness – wake up. In his own words: ‘people are zombies sleepwalking and so much going on around them is here to awaken them, they just need a change of diet. Mentally, physically and spiritually I feel music is that cure’. In essence this is what hip hop has been about since the get (despite what clear-channel and mainstream ‘you are getting sleeeeeeepy’ thrust repeats would have the world believe). Knock Knock. Who’s there? Beats with swagger before ‘swag’ became yet another example of how late pop exploitation decides what’s cool. The Impossebulls : AmeriKan Idle B/W Shadow of Thought

“It’s an honor for me to present to you The Impossebulls, a hip-hop group that first formed when, in 2000, Public Enemy’s Chuck D reached out to fans to collaborate on a new song about the coming demise of major record labels. ‘We Don’t Need You’ was the name of that song and it was the start of the first virtual rapp squad.

The Impossebulls and members of the group then went on to release CDs and digital releases for Chuck D’s label SLAMjamz. Their debut retail CD ‘Slave Education: There Is Truth In Soul’ can be purchased online at Amazon.

Incredibly, they’ve now made their way here to be part of the blocSonic fam along with members C-Doc and LOWdown! Coming April 16th is their premiere blocSonic album release, ‘Made by History (Decade One: 2000-2010)’, a compilation overview of this truly great hip-hop group’s oeuvre, thus far. If you’re a fan of that classic boom bap hip-hop sound, then you do not want to sleep on The Impossebulls! While waiting for the album to drop I’ve got the first single for you.

Although the line-up has changed over the years, The Impossebulls, as found on the forthcoming ‘Made by History (Decade One: 2000-2010)’, are Marcus J, Tirade, Chuck D, DJ President Ike, DJ Def Chad, C-Doc, Mportd Flows, Kyle Jason, 2DN, Pvt Militant, Jeff 10 as Bigg Jimm Slaade, Xeno, Dels Digglah & Wildman Steve.

“…and finally it’s here! The new album by Public Enemy producer/EMCEE/filmmaker, David ‘C-Doc’ Snyder, is finally available for you to download and enjoy. There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that you’ll enjoy it. That’s no malarky, let me tell you…

Considering the incredible work that C-Doc has been turning out for Public Enemy, The Impossebulls and his & Tirade’s LOWdown, I was quite eager to hear what he had cooked up for his solo release! When I first heard it about a week ago, I was floored. Even better than I expected, and my expectations were fairly high! Divided We Stand is twelve tracks of no holds barred, high-quality music for hip-hop connoisseurs.

Although this is a C-Doc album… it’s no mistake that the album cover states ‘Featuring The Impossebulls’ prominently. For those of you in the know, you will notice a couple of the Bulls members featured prominently on the album and singles. For those of you not in the know, no worries… along with C-Doc… DJ Def Chad, Marcus J Gilligan & Tirade are all members of The Impossebulls… a virtual rapp squad that was originally put together by none other than the great Chuck D via PublicEnemy.com’s EnemyBoard back in the late 90s. The Impossebulls went on to release their debut album ‘Slave Education’ via Chuck’s label SlamJamz in 2004. What the future holds for The Impossebulls, only the squad can say, but for now, this album should tide you over. Never have these Bulls sounded SO good!”
