“Back in September we released an amazing EP by Ant The Symbol called You Are Here: Downtown (if you haven’t checked it out yet, be sure you do). Well, it turns out that that EP was the first in a series and today we’ve got the second installment, You Are Here: Midnight!

While listening, it becomes clear why these EPs are part of the same series. There’s a certain sonic character to them that reveals a music artist whose sound is maturing. There’s also a sense of a certain deterministic experimentation.

In doing so, he has moments that reminds you of Aphex Twin and others that could be what Art of Noise would sound like if they tried to make music like him.
