“Lorelei is the debut album from duo Feminine (Giampiero Riggio and Francesco Cipriano).
A wave manifesto against the deeply rooted reverence for the logic of genres.
Lorelei develops on two complementary levels: one archaic and passionate,
troubled by the many contradictions of a land like Sicily and the other,
accurate and bewitching, is a prelude to teutonic Stuttgart.
A countless number of bytes which they shared and exchanged remotely.
This work is romantic and brave at the same time, constantly immersed into a very deep atmosphere, never trite,
fooled by the certainty that there is no dream which cannot be described.”
“After being one of the first released artists in Nulogic Netlabel, Acid Buda returns after the release of his first album with Ruin Records. This time he presents Star, a five tracks EP. Where we can appreciate the fruitful development that his ‘Bizarre Pop’ has carried out since he began experimenting with Casiotones and lysergic melodies. Let yourself go and enjoy the trip!”
“This year La bèl will turn 5 years old and we wanted to celebrate its birthday by publishing a La bèl compilation with all the artists that collaborated with us during these years. The idea is to ask each one of their for a ‘pop’ track, leaving complete freedom to their personal interpretation of this word. We think this would be a nice idea, since hardly any of their works within the ‘pop’ scene. La bèl pop (fifth anniversary compilation) is the final outcome of this experiment.
This compilation is published to coincide with the first Netlabel Day.”
“Marco Mestichella is a 24 years old recording and performing artist originally from Italy who moved to London in 2009 where he’s been producing and playing original music since.
He describes his style as ‘ILLPOP’ referring to it as a blend of trip hop, retro-pop, soft rock and cinematic music.
Marco’s debut EP ‘The Day I Killed My Ego’ was self-released in 2013, with the following release of two video-singles ‘Treason’ and ‘I Should Have Stayed Home Tonight’.
His new single ‘Fragments Of Light’ has been released earlier this month and plenty of new music is set to be released over the next year with new live dates in the pipeline.
Marco has been working with bristolian arranger/composer Joe Rodwell whom he has co-produced all his music with so far as well as collaborating with other underground songwriters like Turan and Claudia Heidegger.
Marco’s music is a crossover in between 70’s and 90’s productions, with hints of Portishead, Morcheeba, Isaac Heys and Pink Floyd, mixed with some old school Madonna and George Michael.”
“Psycho is the third and final installment in the ‘Evils trilogy’ from Adam Radmall aka Plusplus consisting of eight new tracks that continue on a similar theme to the two previously acclaimed albums ‘Evils’ (2010) and ‘Game Over’ (2012). Compared with the first two Plusplus albums, Psycho is more a collaboration with Bryan Styles (Plantman) and Rob Scillitoe contributing on drums and double bass respectively. Producer John Hannon also contributed significantly. The result is much more of an organic sound that reveals another side of the plusplus yet retains a similar mix of brooding atmospheres and circadian rhythms punctuated by playful folk melodies evident on previous work.”
