“For our sixth release, we cross borders to France, in order to introduce DJ and producer Wally Stryk. Owner of a personal vision of electronic music, he has been making his elegant style sound, creating great repercussion, with mixes that vary between techno and house. Now it’s his time to fill up our decks with two exclusive tracks, clear sample of such style. ‘Carnyx’, a warm up track with jazzy reminiscences, and ‘Promise’, whose bass sequence makes it ideal to cast that groovy atmosphere on the floor. Both combine warm, minimal and well defined sounds. The pack completes with the Sishi Rosch’s tripped out mix. Originally from Guatemala, and with a large experience at clubs in the U.S. and Europe, he offers us his acid version of ‘Promise’, with dissonant melodies and trippy sounds.

“Ok, don’t ask us, what is the connection between party-machine Tom Jones (see release picture) and Detroit. We really don’t know. Do you? We’ll be happy to know. Ok, back to the music. Release number three welcomes you with a slightly modified artwork and again three new tracks by Ludwig Coenen.
Brainflakes makes the melodic but yet powerfull starter, bass-heavy but with friendly sounds – we think Tom Jones would maybe like it. With track number two Bring it to the boil things get a little more nasty. It still has nothing to do with the before mentioned titan of entertainment though, but it definetively shakes asses. Track number three Inner Warmth takes you to a little, dirty sideway. Could be a dangerous road though. But then, just around the corner when you least expect it, you’ll meet an old beloved friend. What it is? Hear yourself… Ok, it’s chords. And now even the EP title makes sense, right?”

“herr emmrich is permanently searching for new sounds to puzzle new tracks dedicated to the dancfloor. with variety and his distinct selection of records and tracks he wants to give his audience a good time on the floor. and they surely have. To create a permanent public stage for his music and the work of his friends he founded and developed the netlabel korten vertonung in 2008. the korten label stands for friendship and tolerance as a home for music to range from techno to jazz.

born in 1983 in the city of rostock, germany, herr emmrich became interested in music quite early. at the age of 12 he received his first piano lessons and started to develop his own compositions. influenced by the end nineties he soon become a true fan of electronic music, and after some visits at the local clubs and venues he get addicted to vinyl and started djing. since 2000 he works as a dj, producer and event manager. his love for electronic music has ever since become the essential part of his life as a universal language to express his emotions and feelings to the world, both as a dj and as a producer.”
