“After his first appearance in our Net Series, with Eo Ipso EP, Ingemar Stalholm comes back with a new and excellent work called Power Animal EP. From Gothenburg, fresh tracks full of passion with love, feeling, soul, synthetic beats, crazy glitches, pads and percussions like a claw bear. Ultimately broken sound that sometimes will make you go through a zoological energy. An added bonus we decided to complement to Power Animal with a remix from London-based DJ & budding producer Shibby Shitegeist.”

“After a few months, Monophonic Netlabel starts 2013 with a launch full of modern textures, rich melodies and beats, showing that there are still proposals where the drum machine is the essence and soul of everything.
Juan Camilo Naranjo under his alias Vandelklang presents a phenomenal album called Rolanron EP, completed with contributions by Joed Kleem & QK. An excellent launch. Enjoy with your eyes closed.”

“KrAtOS (real name Diego Strazzullo) was born in Naples, Italy, in 1978. He starts early to play classic piano and soon was hypnotized by the industrial experimental UK scene (Throbbing Gristle, Coil, Psychik TV) discovered by tape cassettes of his uncle. At the end of 90s he was captured by DUB (Bill Laswell, Adrian Sherwood, Almamegretta, Scorn) and he started to process sounds with the intention to melt a lot of different influences. With music he found big friendships in Naples (BLACKYB., FONOTECA, 73, SODOSTUDIO) but in 2009 he left Naples to Greece for work. The joy of music-making still alive, thanks to social networks, he collaborate with others producers and artists (Inference, Marianne Holland, Bissecta, Radical Elsewhere, Natalie Alva) customizing a proper style: a dark experimental DUB. In 2012, he collect 18 tracks with the same noir spirit into a LP called Seventh, a cinematografic hommage to Bergman piece ‘The seventh seal’. Currently, KrAtOS collaborates in project XSYNAPSIS with BLACKY B. and in UK experimental band Radical Elsewhere.”

“Cercle is my most spiritual project. The most introspective. In this little EP the music flows, the themes don’t have any concrete structure, and maybe this gives the sensation of a visual dream, the sensation that you are floating, and you could create images, thoughts, sensations…. Not having a concrete structure, there’s no beginning, no end; it’s like a circle!
All the songs were recorded in one or two takes. Only with a nylon guitar.
The music was almost improvised, except the theme ‘Nils’ that was a rework of the pianist Nils Frahm, from one song of his album Screws, trying to ‘move’ the sounds of his personal piano, to the guitar..
I recorded this EP with Hector Xiqués ( I/O Estudi de Gravació, Barcelona), and we tried to give that especial sound of the guitar, with some delays, and reverbs.
This is a joint release with Alchemistica netlabel.”

“Chicago- and acid house dominates our ninth netlabel release. To cut straight to the chase, our first track is from Grema, who delivers the usual and expected high quality stuff. A piece of dynamic, dancefloor killer, followed by Vinyluser’s also rocking acid fly. Latter’s title is an acronym, with the following meaning: That Magic From Yesterday Is Gone. More than 5 minutes of music primarily made up of Roland Juno 60 sounds and with the help of a Doepfer Modular. Gnork, who already has a vinyl release in his past, aiming for a smoother style: Skysurfin is a nice game with pads, backed by a variety of deep, buzzin basslines. The fourth one, titled Our Future got out from the workshop of Route 8. Another gem of Chicago house, recorded by the artist on a tape. We are pretty sure that the works of Route 8 soon will see a vinyl cut. The slow and charming final track comes from the Farbwechsel label owner duet, Silf. If we wrote this teaser for an online record shop, something like this would come: essential release, must-have!”
