Joe Maas, or Zander One, is mostly known for his works on labels like Recycled Plastics & James Shain’s Cold Fiction Music. He is interested in working with a lot of different styles and instruments. Influenced by the juxtapostion of rust-belt urban decay and lush forests in the Cuyahoga Valley, his music creates a spacious atmosphere drenched in synthetic melody, all culminating in a calm, reflective ambience.

His album Cascade reflects a lot of his musical styles. Not only will you find Dub Techno on this album, you will find dashes of ambient & deep house styles in some of these works.”
