Guerra de Cerdos : Y Te Sacaran Los Ojos [SCL166]

“Guerra de Cerdos is a Band from Buenos Aires formed in june of 2013, with the idea to generate a communion of artistic expression through the music. Their lyrics deal with historical and social topics, existencialism and other philosofical issues. Their sound is born on in such diverses genres like post punk, hardcore and thrash metal, creating a very own style with autentic and original force. The influences from joy division to Slayer, with the punk rock of the clash and the speed of minor threat, and add melodic elements. This days they are a TRIO, with Tapita (Guitar and Vocals), Osky (Bass and vocals) both former members of Ratticidio, and zala in drums and vocals (played in a number of local bands like nash, arrebato, neuroticos, nacidos para perder, etc.).

Guerra de Cerdos have a sound that is very old school yet original with the main focus being on post punk with the melody of gothic pop and they also mix the speed of hardcore punk and the heaviness of thash metal to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very powerful and the lyrics cover history, existencialism and philosophy.
The record was made on Javier PaRES sTUDIOS, with the artwork done by Villy Villian.”

And as its usual, that is to say jumping between the artistic and production field, Sostanze Records wants to offer once again something fresh and different from the rest of the scene. Alexis feels the necessity to grow up, letting the audience understand his new tastes about the techno vibes which are evolving in the UK. And Alexis knows them. Thanks to the new record, Petite Cinema Français, he has room for experimentation, even though he is never settled in his background. The work is accompanied by three remixes produced by artists familiar to the indie net-label: BXP founder of Random Numbers, CVO, founder of the Consumer Recreation Services Recordings and Phooka, the latter founder of Concrete Records. The young dude from Gravina will come back soon on stage to beat the scene. As Cantona would say listening to the new production by Alexis: Au Revoir.”

For this occasion, we publish our jubilee compilation within
50 songs by 50 Artists from 5 Years.

Subbass started in 2010 with the ‘Dubstep Made in Germany’ compilation issue – to the beginning we had a monthly dubstep party for several years on the run. Most of our guest DJs besides produced their own music. Dubstep was here still underground, so near nobody had published anything. To give the underground producers a base, the idea for the compilation was born. this series presents Bass Music producers from the German Scene, for which the production of tunes is a big part of their passion in supporting the emergence and rooting down of sustaining structures for low frequency music. So far we have published seven Compilations.”

“Oldschool, Baby’, that’s how you could summarise the spirit of the Broque Summer Jams. Each June, the extended Broque family leaves their bases all across the world for a few days and comes together somewhere in the middle of nowhere to turn back time and celebrate the spirit of the early days. To pay tribute to this long-standing tradition, Ucleden and friends have built a musical monument for this annual ritual. They capture the goings-on during these quite special days in five wonderfully history-conscious tracks. Tim Susa and Cie pick up and advance the Detroit reminiscences of Ucleden’s title track, while Juno6 focuses on the more essential ingredients of club music. Finally, DML surprises with a healthy dose of early 90s bleeps and breaks, which manage to capture the happy hardcore euphoria of that era in a more nerdy, understated, and – let’s face it – a more grown-up, way. There is nothing left to say for us. So let’s enjoy this moment of happy anticipation of the great things to come during the Summer Jam 2015.”
