“After two years of releases in the Futur[e]cho series, the series returns once again with its longest release yet. Getting somewhat away from the goal of the series, pairing lesser known artists with bigger names in the scene, last years release got away from that. This years release has a bunch of artists you’ve probably not heard of that need to be heard along with some bigger talent you’ve already heard of. This years release also instills more Ambient Techno than Dub Techno, but there is a good mix of both styles on the release. This year’s release features several of the artists that have appeared on both releases, returning artists from the very first release in the series along with new faces. The series strives to get people who might be interested in either Dub Techno or Ambient Techno into both. Enjoy the sonic soundscapes that encompass what is Futur[e]cho 2013.”

“As promised, today we provide to our listeners prominent material of Perpetual Motion Food collective, which – as you probably all know – began a few nice years ago to dismay all listeners raised on tonal music and conservative German folk songs. The idea behind the whole project was free improvisation and experiment, which usually evolved into inscrutable musical forms that loosely correspond to tradition.
Kronika Pogańska (Chronicle of Pagan) is a piece of work of Lech Nienartowicz and Rafał Skonieczny. Lech is responsible for the sound – vast instrumentation, samples, effects and loops, and Rafał for the spoken word and assembly. The result of this collaboration is a mysterious and mesmerizing music… Listen to and reminisce!”

“Both these guys have been very busy this year releasing a few ep’s and albums between them. 2 very exciting artist with a wide range of styles to express. I was very excited and honoured for them to be able to squeeze in a release on Drift Deeper before the year ends.

Nebyla takes us back to basics with a stripped-down funky deep house track. A wonderful melody, beat and vocal hook come together beautifully to create ‘Mountain Yard’.

Pobedia goes deep on us once again with a mesmerizing, deep ambient-drone filled techno track. I really get the feeling of being up at ‘6am’ making my way to work, walking through the city watching as the first beams of sunlight penetrate through the cold concrete structures. Adding a warm glow to the city as it starts to come alive with people going about their day and traffic running through the veins of the city.”
