“As per yearly tradition, Jan presents an ep with material that did not fit the full-length album from previous year, in this case ‘Jan Pierwszy Starszy’. As with every JS e.p. there are no rules and the diversity of genres is breathtaking. Here we have casio-retro-wave, guitar post rock, noisy guitars overlaying, joyful turkish zurna-pop with broken time signature and an anthem of the priviledged man with a sturdy beat!”

“The seven multilayered pieces presented here are hybrids meticulously built up of acoustic and electronic elements both composed and improvised. Synthesizing a complex relationship of lyricism and abstraction, acoustic double bass and drums define melodic and rhythmic figures against an ambient field constructed of electronic textures. The emergent sound is a weave of modallyinflected melodies floating over propulsive, intricate rhythms and harmonic blocks carved out of electronic matter.”
“My first complete LP. Written and recorded between September 2014 to February 2016, at first it was a side project while I worked on another album, but then Void became a full-length album. The other album will be released too, though!”
“Fractal – a mathematical set is self-similar, as each event in a certain period of time has an infinite number of versions. This story goes on with Vimanika project in the Abyss Fractal.
The album is a rather colorful mixture of glitch electronics and easily, penetrating guitar tunes, air textures, soft keyboards and sometimes ambient sounds. This interweaving of musical techniques gives birth to most amazing images, leads to philosophical thoughts and goes straight into the abyss. In the abyss of fractals.”
“Sail is the culmination of 6 months of making music on my own in my home studio. For me it’s a small wonderful journey starting from the title track which is my first non-guitar song till the last song Round Window that is the most groovy and maybe easy listening song. The mid songs are best of both worlds, or at least what i believe they are.”
“Self-titled debut EP of The New Geometry project from Porto, with 3 tracks of superb postrock / shoegaze sounds. Artwork by Raf The Might. If you like this release you can buy a limited edition physical copy through Bandcamp.”
“Stable as the Earth Stops Spinning gathers five songs that best describe the band’s creative process in its early years. The personal perspective on the genre is expressed through individual compositions of its members and recreated through the imaginary of the group.
Then They Flew aim to carefully construct a song’s climax using dynamics contrast, while trying to avoid the characteristic layering of ambiences and textures. This contrast is achieved by battling repetitive melody lines and heavy walls of sound akin to dense, expansive and dynamic atmospheres. Such atmospheres, joined with electrifying melodies and a slow, but steady rhythm section, give coherence to the overall arch of the album.”
