“Blind MIC has been working hard for a 19 year old, collaborating with multiple artists and spanning multiple genres. Following his first release with ‘Free Wize Men’ he has put out material with his live band ‘Lychee’ alongside ‘Lay Fullstop’ on vocals, as well as recording and performing with tongue-in-cheek Grime crew ‘Budget Boys’.

This time we have a self-produced, ‘Lean’ inspired Ep featuring a few of Manchester’s other shining young talents. With Blind MIC stepping up and delivering beats, live guitar and bass, raps and even singing, this young man is looking to make ‘waves’…”

“The album aesthetically is a culmination of events. Moving to a new city, being homeless for a whole summer, being a councilor at an outdoor school, and more. Though they seem insignificant when listening to the album, they do serve as ulterior motives for these songs, sometimes being the main topic like on ANTliens (a reference to both his city and the OutKast album ATLiens) and Put the Ramen in Sacramento, both ambient interludes that segway the main tracks from one to another while keeping the dark mood.”
