Iiney ‎: Body Solo [SSI-150]

“Album Body Solo from Russian project Iiney, abstract-experimental dub released under number 150 on label Simphonic Silence Inside. Body Solo includes 8 songs of which two songs are original from the Iiney and six Remix versions from friendly music projects such as Skoork, Substituent and Vehjora. All compositions can be attributed to the search between the abstract sound of cold dub-techno and high-frequency experimental music. Says Dmitry Iiney about his new work: ‘…Left alone, the body, born in the shadow of the felled tree of life, feeds on the rays of black suns. The eternal source returns to life by SIPS of oxygen that excites the calmed-down consciousness. A simple, seemingly creeping pace of life breaks the motif of a new dawn. Animals, birds, people, all frolic in streams of moisture, clots of the heady day, all meet the horned God. Quietly, casually, the body takes a new form…'”

“life goes up and down and often there is not much headspace for production, this took a long, long way of nearly 4 years…
after almost giving up music production i´m back since a few weeks and the juices started to flow again, i collected some old tracks and polished them a little and made a bunch of new ones.

it´s a personal journey through the years and the musical styles that shaped me and with which i started music production back then.
mostly it´s bass music in various tempoes and i got a little off track from all the dubtechno stuff i was making and came back to the stuff i started with ages ago.
