Ampairelais : Quauder [blpsq040]

“Our 40th release emerges from the mysterious depths of the sea thanks to our new pal in Cologne, Ampairélais. He has skillfully concocted an intricate and rhythmic package rippling with organic minimal funk and freaky sound collage. His underwater exploration remix crew on this voyage bring their own unique approaches to the table, resulting in the discovery of additional otherworldly technoid lifeforms. Dive deep.

We also have some unfortunate news, as one of our artists Relative Q (Paul Zyla) was hospitalized recently after suffering a brain aneurysm. He is starting to make some good progress on his long road to recovery, but we want to do anything we can to help him out. To assist in easing his financial burden, we are donating 100% of proceeds from all releases our bandcamp page for the rest of 2014, and our next release will be a benefit compilation put together by close friends of his and other supporting Bleepsequence artists. So keep an eye out for that in August! Thanks for your support.”

If you have a track you’d like to chip in, please send me a wav file by August 3rd, as I’m trying to get something out soon after that. even if you can’t contribute, please spread the word. thanks everybody.”

The assignment: Forming dreams into sound. The experiment resulted in a beautiful haze of textures, lush pads, strange found sound, clicky grooves, and thoughtful moods ranging from peaceful to foreboding.”

“After an intense groove excavation from deep down in the earth’s core, we welcome the adventurous experimentalism of leriseux to our archives. Raw microtechno alchemy at its finest. Myniciush & Erimus : Artilugios [blpsq037]

“The Colombian downtempo duo returns to our catalog along with a new partner in sound, Erimus. The three of them have crafted an exquisite exercise in sonic storytelling, rich with texture and crackly ambience. Life moves in time stretched slow motion while these surreal extended pieces melt away your perceptions of reality.”

SanthiAgo : Daydream [blpsq036]

SanthiAgo returns to bleepsequence with a hazy ride into daydreams, carefully balancing optimistic melody with foreboding atmospherics. Playful synth lines, bouncy percussion, and glitched out field recordings swirl together into a highly enjoyable lucid and psychedelic experience. We also gladly welcome Arbee and Substak on remix duties for their first appearance on our label, bringing their own individual signature styles of dubby experimentalism. And let’s not forget a work from our crunch time stalwart Jay Phonic, dropping a tripped out floor burner to really send this EP into hyperspace.”
