Coppice Halifax : Antauen [BC46]

“Sometimes, music makes itself, or at least it seems to. Antauen began with inspiration striking Argentinian producer Matias Bagato (aka Orson Throb, and one of the minds behind Temiong Recordings) to remix the Coppice Halifax track ‘Antu’ from Radians (RP4). This mix was simply too good to let it fall by the wayside, so within a week of hearing it, we drafted the help of French producer Zwei Kreise (previously known as Axs) to fill out what would be a spontaneous single. Coppice Halifax went back to the source sounds for ‘Antu’ as well, bringing into existence ANTAUEN, a heavy new track that slices through the original audio with a white-hot laser, ready to storm the decks. Once the leading single and the supporting mixes were laid out, tangents began to manifest, and both Zwei Kreise and Coppice Halifax went even deeper into ‘Antu’ to excavate three more mixes: ZK’s being a low-res nod to vintage game soundtracking, and CH’s being a 40-minute drone-techno monolith with a washed out reprise. These experimental extras are only available as bonus tracks on the CD-R version of Antauen, which fully adds up to 71 minutes of new sound for your ears to process. Grab BC46 and thaw yourself out in deep space today.”

Michael Miller : Dark Sphere EP [AE088]

Michael Miller is a Russian producer from Saint-Petersburg. 2 original tracks and 3 remixes on his Audioexit debut EP. He has very straightforward industrial sound, not as dark as Balatro but somewhat harder and punchy. Autumn Drops is a thick, dense track with all noises coming upfront. Its first rework from Operator is a bit slower with beautiful noises and pumping – a real party piece. The second remix from Cyrill Keyser is an acid piece – a real rarity in our catalog. The title track Dark Sphere brings the same hard and industrial sound like Autumn Drops but placed on an offbeat base. The remix from SVVO is a light industrial with a nice chord. Michael Miller is a techno prodcuer from Russia. His inspiration for his music comes from his paintings and inspiration for his paintings come from his music. First interested in techno in the beginning of the 2000′s. He started writing techno music in 2005.”

“Experimenting with noises became more and more vital for danielVee, who dedicates good amount of time trying to reproduce sounds that spark in his mind as a real representation of something that can be felt by other beings. These sounds are mixed and arranged together most of the time in a live situation, making every expression unique. These moments of uniqueness are the fuel of this never ending mental laboratory which day by day pushes the limits of his imagination to the next level of experimentation.
In this album, you can experiment a little bit of this journey, going through essays of his daily jams when everything is made out of pure joy and fun.”
