Both .cite and half slept have been working overtime to shape and refine their sonic inscriptions, and Protanopia, for us, is a tight summary of all this work.
The EP is split between balmy, shape-cutting rominimal and more aggressive, hardware-driven techno sounds, with .cite and half slept also combining to bring you the first (official) track under their collaborative alias: Kolorblind. These works evoke a variety of places and spaces, from moving your feet to the swung rhythms as dappled sunlight penetrates the dance floor, through to more robotic movements as you approach dusk; punters grooving in sync to the calculated beats being laid down.
