“In 1987, Hady aka Konn8 was born in Beirut. All throughout the 90’s, spent his time listening to cassette tapes that belonged to his father, and these included the likes of Robert Miles, Jean Michel Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Buddha Bar, and Enigma amongst others. Day by day the love for music grew while spending time collecting cassettes and eventually owning his first computer to record his own collection of personal favorites using simple software and programs. Fast forward to 2007 where he moved to Beirut to start University, during these times Trance music had taken over the scene in the city. Every weekend, Hady spent his time attending music events and festivals and eventually buying his first Pioneer DJ set. The year 2008 was a tipping point in Hady’s music taste where in one night he visited Beirut’s renowned club called Basement which was famous for it’s underground music as well as live sets, to weekly international DJ events.
At that time Hady decided to focus more on learning Traktor and diving completely into music genres such as deep and tech house. Around that time, by simple chance Hady meets with an old high school friend in Lebanon, who has spent his entire time on music production using Ableton. They quickly bonded and shared their passion for creating something unrestricted by genre and mostly just for the fun on making good sounds. Fast forward to 2017, today Hady spends most of his time having fun with Traktor and Ableton from time to time.
Specialties vary from Nu-Disco, Deep House, to Progressive, and Dub Techno. This will always depend on the moment.”
