Surprisingly Sami Konzo did send a life sign, after three years. And we welcome it a lot and so we can present a different view into Sami his music making. This time we can feel a five track trip into deep tech house, that let’s us dream of nice festival events in the woods or at the sea. The perfect moment, when the crowds are together as one. The artwork and the tracks spread signs of hope, while not forgetting the shadows. It is very welcome to publish the tracks as our spring release. Have a good and hopeful time!”

“We continue digging into the lost archives of Springline Records, one of the most underrated reggae and dub labels of the UK, which has been operational from 2003 until 2012. With artists coming mainly coming from the UK underground, the style of the label was strongly influenced by the Jamaican roots music of the 70s with a sound very kin to that of Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry’s Black Ark studio. After 10 years of operation, two vinyl releases and many tapes and digital releases the label stopped its operations in 2013, with the owner of the label Gibsy Rhodes deciding to put an end to that musical adventure. What is left nowadays are some articles/reviews on the internet and some music scattered online, reminding the era of a great label, which unfortunately did not get the recognition it deserved, as well as a usb stick handed over to us by Gisby Rhodes, with some musical treasures from that time: demos, unreleased and rare tracks.”

“The third album in my DAVID LYNCH series is here! Blue Velvet is one of my all-time favorite films from my all-time favorite filmmaker. I have no other way to better pay tribute to things I like than to make dub albums. Weird right? I hope this scratches your Lynchian itch, and if you like it maybe I’ll do another one in the future! Lost Highway in dub – anyone?

This album was a labor of love that could not have been completed without the amazing efforts my production partner Wise Owl, and the incredible featured guest DUB ROBOT! The music without them would have been good, but with those two I think its GREAT! Heres to many more Black Market records with these two.
